Dr. Sonal Vimal Ambani

Dr. Sonal Vimal Ambani is the founder of a global concept of peace. Her project World Peace 2014 to 2040 aspires to have all 365 days of peace by the year 2040.
She is the Founder and Managing Trustee of the Cancer Screening & Research Trust (CSRT). The primary focus of CSRT is to promote cancer awareness and to deliver the message that if cancer is detected early, it can be treated and one can live a normal healthy life.
She has authored and published the book Mothers & Daughters that features eminent women achievers from various walks of life. The sequel Fathers and Sons, under her mentoring, was authored by her children which showcases prominent Indian Achievers from around the world. The proceeds from the sale of the books goes towards creating awareness of early cancer detection, a CSRT initiative and to the Books and Balls Foundation. Mrs. Ambani has produced two television commercials on cancer awareness. One of the commercials won the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) award for the “Best Commercial for a Nonprofit Organization”.
A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, an MBA in Marketing and Finance and a PhD in Business Management, she has written two patents: Systems and Method for providing “Financial Services to Children and Teenagers” and “Purchase Management System and Electronic Receipts”. |

Amar Vimal Ambani

Amar is pursuing his IB Diploma from Sevenoaks, Kent, UK. At Sevenoaks, Amar was elected school prefect and is actively involved in the Charity Action Group. At the Paris Model United Nations he received “Honorable Mention” by the Chair. He has completed the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Expedition and is training for the gold expedition. He is on the Yearbook Committee and is on the Squash and Rugby team.
Amar received the Distinction Award at the University of Cambridge IGCSE Board Examination for overall academic excellence in the 10th Grade, at Ahmedabad International School (AIS). He was awarded the best delegate at the AIS Model UN and he was the captain of his football team. He enjoys skiing, surfing, swimming and snowboarding and won the surfing championship at Byron Bay, Australia.
He has organized several fund raisers and co-authored Fathers & Sons with Anjali Ambani to raise money for the Books and Balls Foundation. He co-founded the Books and Balls Foundation in the 6th Grade. He is President of The World Peace Keeper Movements Youth Wing (www.twp.org). He is an avid photographer and many of his photographs have been published on several websites. |

Muhammad Yunus was awarded the
2006
Nobel Peace Prize, along with Grameen Bank, for their efforts to
create economic and social development. In the prize announcement The
Norwegian Nobel Committee mentioned:
Muhammad Yunus has shown himself
to be a leader who has managed to translate visions into practical
action for the benefit of millions of people, not only in Bangladesh,
but also in many other countries. Loans to poor people without any
financial security had appeared to be an impossible idea. From modest
beginnings three decades ago, Yunus has, first and foremost through
Grameen Bank, developed micro-credit into an ever more important
instrument in the struggle against poverty. |

Subhash
Chandra is a onetime rice trader turned media baron and Chairman of Essel
Group, that launched India's satellite television revolution. His
pioneering Zee TV. Other interests include packaging, theme parks,
lotteries and cinema multiplexes. He has recently started the Indian
Cricket League, a domestic Twenty20 cricket league intended as a
challenge to the Board of Control for Cricket in India, the nation's
governing body in the sport. |

Nando
Castillo is an architect and a real estate developer with
multiple office and residential condo projects in Central America,
as well as a partner in a major regional construction company. He is a member of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), through which
he has been able to focus a large part of his time and
entrepreneurial skills to helping social enterprise non-profits.
Mr. Castillo is currently on the board of advisors for Project
Healthy Children, a Boston-based foundation with the mission to
combat micronutrient malnutrition worldwide. He is helping to
spearhead the foundation's pilot legislation project in Latin
America. |

David Bornstein - Author “How to Change the World: Social Entrepreneurs and the Power of New Ideas”

Bornstein specializes in writing about social innovation. He is
the author of "How to Change the World: Social Entrepreneurs and the
Power of New Ideas" (Oxford University Press) which was described by
The New York Times as "must reading" for "anyone who cares about
building a more equitable and stable world" and a "Bible" in its
field. The book, which has been published in 16 languages, chronicles
and analyzes the work of social innovators who are successfully
addressing social problems at scale in several countries. Bornstein's
first book, "The Price of a Dream: The Story of the Grameen Bank,"
traces the history of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Grameen Bank
during its first 20 years and describes the global emergence of the
